T E S T I M O N I A L S - O T H E R
I
have
a
very
beloved
pet
Duck
(known
as
Ducky)
who
was
trampled
by
a
35kg
dog
in
my
backyard.
The
next
day
I
noticed
some
drastic
changes
in
her
stools
so
I
took
her
to
her
specialist
avian
vet.
She
was
put
on
medication
for
a
serious
bacterial
infection,
however
I
was
concerned
that
the
vet
could
not
offer
much
to
treat
the
internal
bleeding
we
suspected
from
the
trampling.
I
work
with
a
Reiki
Master
who
assured
me
that
Reiki
could
help
stop
the
internal
bleeding,
so
I
contacted
Helen
who
works
solely
with
animals.
Helen
performed
4
sessions
of
distance
Reiki
for
Ducky,
which
I
feel
kept
her
calmer
and
also
gave
us
some
clues
as
to
where
the
bleeding
might
be
coming
from.
Helen
was
also
able
to
give
me
insight
into
how
Ducky
was
feeling,
and
she
even
managed
to
describe
Ducky’s
personality
even
though
all treatments were done by distance!
A
blood
test
by
the
vet
showed
that
Ducky’s
red
blood
cells
were
improving,
which
suggested
the
internal
bleeding
had
stopped.
However
the
vet
was
still
very
concerned
about
some
other
test
results,
so
I
agreed
to
have
Ducky
put
under
anaesthesia
to
investigate
further.
I
rang
Helen
and
asked
her
to
do
an
emergency
Reiki
session
for
Ducky,
and
she
gladly
obliged.
Ducks
don’t
tolerate
anaesthesia
very
well,
and
I
believe
the
Reiki
Helen
performed
for
Ducky
helped
her
through the procedure.
The
exploratory
biopsy
and
x-ray
showed
an
egg
that
was
stuck
in
the
wrong
area.
This
meant
Ducky
would
require
serious
surgery
2
days
later
in
order
to
save
her
life.
Helen
agreed
to
do
some
more
distance
Reiki
for
Ducky
prior
to
her
surgery
and
again
on
a
daily
basis
until
we
both
felt
she
was
recovered.
At
the
time
Helen
was
very
busy
working
but
she
made
time
to
treat
Ducky
even
if
it
was
late
at
night,
and
I
am
very
grateful
for
her
dedication.
The
vet
gave
Ducky
a
50/50
chance
of
surviving
the
surgery,
and
then
there
would
be
risks
associated
with
her
post-operative
recovery.
I’m
pleased
to
say
that
Ducky
did
very
well
during
her
surgery,
especially
since
as
soon
as
the
vet
opened
her
up
they
found
numerous
large
masses
inside
her
abdomen.
The
surgery
went
for
40
minutes
and
all
the
masses
and
the
egg
were
removed
(quite
a
procedure
for
a
little
duck!).
The
vet
seemed
quite
amazed
at
how
well
Ducky
did
with
her
surgery,
and
the
fact
that
she
was
standing
and
walking
around
again
only
20
minutes
after
major
surgery!
I
attribute
this
to
Helen’s
Reiki
and
lots
of
positive
thinking
and love.
I
am
very
grateful
to
Helen
for
all
her
Reiki
work
with
Ducky.
I
believe
it
made
a
huge
difference
to
Ducky’s
ability
to
heal,
cope
with
surgery,
and
make
a
full
recovery.
I
would
gladly
recommend
Helen
to
anyone
who
wants
a
natural
way
to
help their pet.

Duchess is a pure bred mini-lop rabbit born on the 19th April
2013. Debra Perrin is Duchess’s owner. Debra contacted me in
November 2013, her rabbit had virtually overnight, become
lethargic, listless, not wanting to eat and was becoming
progressively paralysed.
Debra took Duchess to the vet, who diagnosed her with “Floppy
Rabbit Syndrome” (FRS). FRS refers to the acute onset of a
cluster of symptoms which characterise a potentially fatal
condition. These symptoms include varying degrees of
progressive generalised weakness, flaccidity, partial or
complete paralysis. In Duchess’s case she had complete
paralysis and when lifted and carried was completely floppy in
all limbs and including her head, which she could not hold up.
There are many theories as to the cause of FRS, but none
conclusive. Debra’s vet gave Duchess NSAIDs but was not
confident that Duchess would pull through. In order to give
Duchess the best chance of recovery Debra sought assistance
using natural therapy approaches.
I only saw Duchess the once which was 2 days after her
diagnosis. She had been on veterinary medication for 2 days
but with no improvement. Duchess was completely flaccid with
no muscle tone, lethargic and unable to lift her head. In therapy
I used a number of modalities including Bowen Therapy,
Photonic/red light therapy and Light Life tools.
In using photonic/red light therapy, this was done via the
photonic torch and working on acupuncture points relevant to
the symptoms that Duchess presented with. The rings from the
Light Life tools were placed over Duchess’s body, around her
head, tail and all 4 limbs whilst Bowen Therapy was done. The
acuvac and feedback coils were used along the spine. At the
end of the 60min session, Duchess was able to lift and control
her head. She also displayed some controlled movement in her
front legs and attempted to move. This was all very positive
and suggestive of further improvement to come. Debra and
Duchess left the clinic with some homeopathic remedies as
well, however these were not needed. Debra contacted me that
evening to say that Duchess was hoping around, with an 80%
improvement within 3 days Debra reported that Duchess was
back to normal. As at January 2014, Duchess continues to be
thriving and doing well with no relapse.
My thanks to Debra Perrin from the Blue Mountains
for allowing Duchess’s story to be shared.
Nerf is almost 2 years old and has been with Hogwatch Farm
Sanctuary since April 2013. Janette from the Sanctuary
contacted me for assistance in managing Nerf’s oestrus cycle
which occurs every 21days.
For 3-4 days Nerf is agitated, uncomfortable and just doesn't
really relax. Janette had done some wonderful things to help
Nerf , including giving her 2 x 1000mg evening primrose a day,
she is about 60 kilo and 1 x372.2mcg of selenium, every second
day for 6wks following kinesiology when a deficiency was
detected. She also had chamomile tea in her food at night to
try and calm her and had been on essence blends to help with
her emotional adjustment to Hogwatch.
Specifically Janelle was interested in any homeopathic options
to give Nerf further support/relief.
Initially it was suggested that Sepia 30C should be given.
Janette writes “ I started her on the drops just as she started
her cycle. We have found her pacing did reduce quite a bit as
did her anxiety and aggression.
She is however still physically uncomfortable, but it has been
pleasing not to see her pacing her fence line as often once
again thanks for the drops and advice”
In further emails with Janette it was suggested that
magnesium phosphate as a mineral tissue salt dissolved in
water and given to Nerf may help with the muscle cramping ,
which would appear to be a major reason for the discomfort.

Sweet “Nerf”
At Animal Equilibrium, Helen treats all creatures great and
small.
Meet Daisy who came along to the clinic with her mum
Suze for kinesiology and homeopathic remedies.
Helen worked in conjunction with Daisy's avian vet to
assist Daisy in her recovery from lead poisoning and to
improve her immune system.
Suze comments “ Daisy enjoys her visits, I believe that the
work of kinesiology and homeopathy is definitely
supporting Daisy in her recovery and the vets are very
pleased with her progress, thanks Helen.”

Myriam, client of Animal Equilibrium writes...
"When one of my chooks was sick I sought out the advice of
Helen, a colleague kinesiologist who specializes in treating
animals with a holistic approach using natural remedies.
She posted me some drops containing colloidal silver and a mix
of Bach flower remedies.
In less than a week of using the drops my chook was thriving
and laying eggs again, and within a few weeks, her whole
feather coat was looking much thicker and healthier.
She's a super layer, when she's healthy, this chook lays eggs
between 80 and 85g per egg (her eggs hardly fit in 'jumbo' egg
boxes), so I was glad to get her back on track laying her
gigantic eggs again!
Helen adds... natural therapies can benefit a range of animals,
and colloidal silver is a great natural antibiotic.
Birds can often experience stress easily and flower essences
are wonderful in these circumstances and so easy to add to the
drinking water.
